Laser Speed Traps

Have you ever seen police offers standing on the side of the road holding up a laser gun aiming at traffic? Have you seen a speed gun mounted on a tripod? Have you seen police officers jump out to the middle of the road or highway to stop the traffic, and he was able to pick out the specific car to issue a speeding ticket?

These speed guns are LIDAR, or laser guns, unlike conventional RADAR that most drivers are aware of. LIDAR is pin-point technology, quick speed lock with accurate speed measurement without any advanced warning. LIDAR renders radar detectors useless.
