Like any other Beltronics radar detectors, the STi Magnum gives you 3 sensitivity settings - Highway Mode for maximum range, AutoScan Mode and City No-X Mode for balanced performance and false signal rejection.
We recommend hardwiring the Bel STi Magnum with a direct-wire cord or direct-wire SmartCord for cleaner and more concealed install.
The latest 2010 production model with firmware revision A6M9 includes Traffic Signal Rejection (TSR) setting that suppress annoying radar traffic drones that check highway traffic flow regularly. It also includes audio ramp-up update which makes the STi much more responsive to change in strength of radar signals.
