Radar Detector Interface

The Cheetah radar detector interface (RDI) allows integration with the Valentine 1 radar detector with other Cheetah receivers such as the GPSmirror, C100, and Vizalert. Radar signals from the Valentine 1 is relayed without any loss in performance.

Compatible Cheetah Receivers:
- Cheetah GPS Mirror
- Cheetah C100
- Cheetah Vizalert

Included in the box:
- RADARnode Wireless Transmitter
- Special RADARnode cable for linking to the Valentine 1
- POWERsense Node if user decides to use a non-switched power source
- Detailed wiring diagrams

Menu items can be set accoring to your personal preference. RADARnode approximate signal strength (based on V1's 8 led indicator)

Valentine One display strength 1-2 is transmitted as signal strength 1
Valentine One display strength 2-4 is transmitted as signal strength 2
Valentine One display strength 4-5 is transmitted as signal strength 3
Valentine One display strength 5-6 is transmitted as signal strength 4
Valentine One display strength 7-8 is transmitted as signal strength 5

Note the actual signal strength may vary from the detector's displayed level since the RADARnode responds to the detector's AUDIO signal and NOT the detector's display.

Due to the start up sequence of the Valentine One, the K band and Laser signals will be transmitted briefly when the RADARnode and Valentine One are powered on.
